Chen Liehan: First of all, thank you teachers for evaluating my work and giving a lot of valuable comments. Let me briefly introduce my development process over the past 30 years. After I graduated from the Academy of Arts and Crafts, under the recommendation of Teacher Zhang Shouzhi, General Manager Liu Peijin of the China National Arts Corporation accepted me. If I did not accept Mr. Liu, maybe I would not be able to settle in Beijing, so I am the first person to be grateful. It is Teacher Zhang and Manager Liu. After joining the China Arts Headquarters, I worked as an art editor for the magazine "China Handicrafts" for several years. The work was relatively easy. I used my spare time to create ceramics and built an electric stove on my balcony to create overglaze colors. By 2005, I rented a house in the suburbs of Beijing to build a studio, bought a large electric kiln, bought clay and glaze from Shandong, and created a batch of modern pottery art. From 2005 to 2009, he made 20 Many original pottery works, these works have complicated molding process, long molding time, and fired many times. After I was appraised as a master in 2010, the company leaders took it seriously and supported my creation. I began to concentrate on my time to create in Longquan, and set up a studio here. I went to Longquan to concentrate only on creating in the studio, and all the works were shipped back to Beijing. Today I have a very clear purpose for this exhibition, which is to let everyone evaluate my work and give me valuable opinions, because I don't have work pressure now, and I turn my heart and soul into creation. Facts have proved that when a person concentrates on creation, he can make a lot of works. Like the few works I created last year, I drew slowly, trying to portray meticulously. In Longquan’s studio, I work every day from 8 am to 11 pm. Although my environment in Longquan’s studio is rudimentary and the creative process must be done by myself, which is a bit hard work, I think I must be worthy of myself. Starting in 2016, I will make greater efforts in porcelain creation. At present, I am exploring celadon blue and white, celadon red and green color, and celadon gilding decoration. Because the homogeneity of celadon is very serious now, color painting decoration Can form a personal style. I hope to make a breakthrough in the decoration of celadon glaze and make bold attempts in this area.
I will work hard in artistic creation, give back to teachers and company leaders, and create better works for everyone to evaluate. Thank you all, thank you again for coming.
