On the afternoon of June 18, British local time, supported by the China National Art Foundation, the Cambridge Exhibition of Jingdezhen Ceramic Art works of Europe, sponsored by Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, opened at Cambridge City Hall, England. 60 ceramic works of art created by teachers from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute are on display here. Cambridgeshire Queen Lily Bacon, Cambridgeshire Mayor Gerri Bird and Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute President Ning Gang jointly opened the art exhibition. Nearly 200 Chinese and British political representatives, artistic and cultural representatives, international media attended the opening ceremony.

The Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom sent a congratulatory letter in which it pointed out: "Ceramics have been a symbol of Chinese civilization since ancient times and a bridge for exchanges between China and Britain. The ceramic works of 60 top ceramists in Jingdezhen, have traveled across the ocean and appeared in Cambridge, which is not only an echo of the long history of mutual learning between Chinese and Western civilizations, but also a continuation of this fine tradition. "

President Ning Gang made a speech at the opening ceremony. He reviewed and introduced the achievements of Sino-British ceramic cultural and artistic exchanges and civilization mutual learning in recent years. He pointed out that Chinese ceramics are the crystallization of science and art. Chinese ceramics, as an important material evidence of cultural exchanges between China and the West, continue to radiate the brilliance of history and art.
