Xue Huizhi

Born in Yixing.

From 1988 to present, associate professor of Shandong University of Arts.

In 1988, graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.

In 1992, he studied at the Central Academy of Art and Design.

In 2005, he was a visiting scholar at the National Academy of Arts in Oslo.

In 2007, he was a visiting scholar at Peking University.

Main artistic achievements:

In 1998, invited to participate in "98' Yixing International Ceramic Art Seminar"

In 1999, invited to participate in the "99' Century Ceramic Art Seminar" in Amsterdam, Netherlands

In 2000, Shandong University of Arts held the "Huizhi Ceramic Art. Teaching Achievement Report Exhibition"

In 2002, he was invited to participate in the 2002’ Foshan International Ceramic Art Symposium "Creation Exchange between Chinese and Foreign Ceramic Artists"

In 2003, invited to attend the "2003’ Oslo International Ceramic Art Symposium" in Norway

In 2004, his work "Female Style" was selected into "China Shandong Art Institute & Dankook University International Art Exchange Exhibition"

In 2006, the work "Female Style" was selected into the 8th National Ceramics and Design Competition and won the Special Jury Award

2008 Peking University Centennial Lecture Hall held "Chinese Ceramics Take Off From Here-Xue Huizhi World Tour Exhibition of Ceramics"

In 2009, invited by the South Korean Government of Gyeongsang Province, appointed by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education to participate in the "2009 Korean, Chinese and Japanese Tea Bowl Invitational Exhibition" in Gimhae, South Korea

In 2009, invited to attend the "16th Congress of the International Federation of Anthropology and Ethnology" in Kunming
