    Artist Biography

    Sun Ou, born in Shenyang in 1960, graduated from the Sculpture Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. He is currently a professor and graduate tutor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shenyang University. Senior Artist of Liaoning Province; Member of Liaoning Art Association; Member of China Women Ceramics Association; Member of Jingdezhen Gaoling Ceramic Art Association. In 1987, he obtained the "National Urban Sculpture Creation and Design Qualification Certificate".

    His sculptures and pottery works have participated in various major exhibitions at home and abroad, and have been featured in "Fine Arts", "Decoration", "Mei Yuan", "Chinese Ceramics", "Chinese Ceramics Research", "Ceramics Research", "Journal of Shenyang University" "" and other academic and professional journals.
