          Artist Biography

          Wang Longfu (1930.11--2015.9) was born in Fuliang, Jiangxi. Also known as Wang Xuan, the name is Changnanzi and Hanweng. Master of Chinese arts and crafts, member of the 8th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of Chinese Artists Association, librarian of Jiangxi Provincial Museum of Culture and History, Dean of Jingdezhen Painting Academy, Visiting Professor of Jingdezhen College, Honorary Dean of Jingdezhen Ceramic Vocational and Technical College. Born in a "ceramic family", his grandfather Wang Changbin (Wen Yi) was the supervisor of the imperial kilns of Guangxu and Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty, and his father Wang Tingfang (Wang Bai) graduated from Shanghai Art College in his early years.

           Mr. Wang Longfu is good at pastel paintings of ancient figures, as well as landscape paintings and paintings of flowers and birds. His artistic images are mostly drawn from historical allusions, myths and legends, focusing on true feelings and feelings, and creating images with meticulous and freehand brushwork. Mr. Wang Longfu's works integrate poetry, painting, calligraphy, and gold and stone into one, taking the charm of the situation and the skill of the pen. Mr. Wang Longfu's Chinese paintings, blue and white freehand brushwork, flowers and birds, are majestic and magnificent, with vigorous and ancient style, elegant style, refined and subtle style, strong in indifferent, and novelty in ordinary.
